The World Federation of KSIMC

The World Federation with the support of NASIMCO acquires land in Haiti to foster growth and development for Haitian Shias. 

The Shias in Haiti have worked hard for many years to nurture a community that promotes peace, unity and brotherhood among all peoples. Since the earthquake, The World Federation in partnership with NASIMCO has worked in Haiti to support the Shias there through relief and education initiatives including the annual Ramadhan Relief Program.

Currently, The World Federation is sponsoring 120 students in Haiti through the Zainabiya Child Sponsorship Scheme (ZCSS). These students range from nursery to Grade 7 and the school provides an enjoyable, healthy and educational environment where the children feel safe from the harsh struggles that surround them.

By purchasing this land, we will be better able to support the Shia community in Haiti in a number of areas including education, orphan care, and community building.
