Metsäteho Oy is a wood procurement development company that lives in time and looks to the future. The main objectives of Metsäteho's operations are to research and develop the availability of wood, harvesting and transport technology, as well as the flow of information and the efficiency of operations.

Through applied research, Metsäteho supports the development of its shareholders' wood procurement and wood production operations and promotes the operating conditions for wood supply. Our role includes structuring R&D needs and new opportunities, assembling research consortia, coordinating and implementing them, and supporting the exploitation of results.

Our main activities are R&D projects, expert studies, seminars and other information activities. Our operations are based on strong know-how and a close cooperation network. It is characterized by direct and continuous contact with the users of the results.
