VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH

We, the VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH, are part of the VDI Group. Our goal is to increase the technological and innovative performance of business, science and research. Responsible to society, we want to be involved in the search, analysis and evaluation of technologies that contribute to solving ecological, economic and social problems.

With over 250 employees, we are a leading private innovation service provider for federal and state ministries and for the European Commission. Other clients are associations and companies. As the project management agency, we have been successfully responsible for all tasks relating to the funding of research and development projects for over 40 years. In doing so, clients benefit from our extensive experience from the development and implementation to the evaluation of research programs.

The technology center was founded as a division of the VDI Verein Deutscher Ingenieure eV in 1975, and we have been a GmbH since 2003. Together with other companies of the VDI Group, we moved into our headquarters in Düsseldorf Airport City in 2008, and we have had another location in Berlin since 2012.
