The Integrated Rural Development Organization (IRDO) is a registered Non Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Ileje District, Mbeya region in Southern Tanzania. The organization was transformed from Ileje Food Crop Production Project (IFCPP-1989), which worked for 10 years under tripartite agreement between COOPIBO, Community Development Trust Fund (CDTF) and Ileje District Council. Later the organization was transformed into an independent non-government organization Ileje Rural Development Trust Fund (IRDTF) in the year 2000 and later changed the name to Ileje Rural Development Organization in 2004 according to the new Tanzania NGO policy of 2002 and then to INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (IRDO) to cover Tanzania mainland since February 2012.. IRDO has well established program offices in the districts of Rungwe, Kyela, Mbozi, Momba, Songwe, Mbeya CC, Chunya, Mbozi, Ileje, and Tunduma Town.
