AEG GENEL ELK

Genel Elektrik Taahhut Incorporated, shortly GENEL or Genel Elektrik is the continuation of Cegelec Turkey, a well-known French company established at the end of 1995 and started business in 1996 basing on the former AEG activities developed from foundation in 1925 as a subsidiary of German AEG Atiengeselschaft, with the official title of Cegelec AEG which was changed to Alstom at the end of 1999 upon worldwide merger of Cegelec into Alstom, another French company, back to Cegelec in 2001 upon seperation of contracting activities from Alstom, and finally changed to GENEL in 2003 upon registration of the new title as Genel Elektrik Taahhut Limited, which was amended in 2009 as Genel Elektrik Taahhut Anonim Sirketi, meaning “General Electrical Contracting Incorporated Company”.When the company was newly founded , the contracting department of AEG was transferred into it with all their references, assets, projects, and manpower which made the young company look much older by standing firmly on such outstanding references with an expert engineering team and experienced staff.The contracting team successfully completed various reference projects in industry, energy, and building installation previously within the frame of AEG. The same team increased their reputation in contracting with the widely known names of first Cegelec, then Alstom, later as Cegelec again and the same core personnel, especially engineers, erectors, and other site employees.are presently continuing electrical contracting activities successfully with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management standards under the title Genel Elektrik.
