Stop Wapenhandel

Stop Wapenhandel is an independent peace organization and has been conducting research into arms trade and the arms industry in the Netherlands, Europe and sometimes in a larger international context since 1998. We campaign and publish articles and reports. Stop Wapenhandel wants a ban on arms exports to undemocratic regimes and conflict areas. War should not be a business model. We examine how the lobby of the arms industry influences policy. We protest against arms exchanges and the financing of production by the European Union. Together with the European Network Against Arms Trade, we are trying to strengthen Dutch and European controls on arms exports.
