UJP Praha a.s.

UJP PRAHA a.s. was established in 1996 under the name ŠKODA - ÚJP, Praha, a.s. within the “major privatization” process as the successor of the former Nuclear Fuel Institute (Czech abbreviation ÚJP) which, established in 1966, had been a subsidiary of the state-owned enterprise DIAMO. The name was changed to the present UJP PRAHA in 2002. On the one hand the company business activities build on the wealthy know-how acquired by the Nuclear Fuel Institute during decades, on the other hand the company also ventures into other specialized branches of technology and acquires a renown there as well.
