About
Center for Family Health and Community Development , or CFC for short, is a Vietnamese civil society organization founded by big sisters, dedicated to education and child protection, fighting for women's rights.
CFC, formerly CEFACOM, works with the goal of promoting children's rights, universalizing education and empowering women. Inheriting the achievements of CEFACOM, CFC continues to carry out the mission of creating a positive foundation and a safe environment for the all-round development of children.
Center for Family Health and Community Development (CFC Vietnam) is a Vietnamese non-profit organization, established by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations VUSTA in 2012.
CFC Vietnam was founded and led by a team of experienced project managers with expertise in education and children's rights. We operate in the field of children's rights; promote the universalization and development of education for all; promote technology education; increase access to the Internet and mobile technology for children in disadvantaged areas.
CFC Vietnam's leadership team is female-led, diverse, and includes YSEALI 2020 members (selective leadership scholarships granted by the U.S. Department of State). We have been recognized by our partners as one of the most dynamic and innovative women-led NGOs in Vietnam.
CFC is also a recipient of TechSoup and Google grants for NGOs.
Since 2018, equitable access to technology-enabled education for young children has been incorporated into CFC's strategic area of activity. To this end, CFC fosters partnerships with leading education ICT partners, including Vietnamese NGO Vietnet-ICT, multinational companies Google and Panasonic, Vietnam edtech company OMT, and other partners.
