archtag has five main global business areas – Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, Project management and Facilities Management – although our multi-disciplinary approach means that any given project may involve people from any or all of the sectors or regions in which we operate. An important part of our practice addresses the process of Options Appraisal that involves the consideration and appraisal of a number of alternative courses of action to ensure that a desired outcome can be achieved in the most economic, effective and efficient way possible. This process allows for new initiatives to be carefully appraised in relation to all potential costs and benefits and their financial sustainability before being approved by the governing body.

In Architecture, we believe that once we know how to deal with architectural form, we can instill it with the meanings we value, make it serve the programs submitted to us and to accommodate the functions asked for.

Our solutions are based on the concept of form-transformation that leads the design to proceed, step by step, from a simple first form towards an increasingly complex and large whole. This approach, subsequently, is applied to increasingly difficult subjects.

In pursuit for perfection, archTAG adopts a holistic approach to design that cares for every aspect of the solution we have to provide. To help us achieve the right balance between the different design parameters, we rely on the Five Systems Model of the design process developed by the Building Performance Research Unit in Strathclyde University – Glasgow, UK.

The Model captures the complete reality of building projects within five integrated frames: Objectives, Activities, Environments, Buildings and Costs. Therefore, the solutions we come up with are developed always in parallel with a stringent analysis process that tests the solution against the requirements of each frame to arrive at the right balance of parameters. Therefore, Archtag strength lies in the ability to focus on every parameter of the solution they provide and seamlessly integrating all parameters in a whole with unique characters.

Interior design plays a significant role in providing the unique architectural experience of the building project. Our creative designers come with imaginative solutions for any requirements. Simple and elegant designs don't need to cost a lot but require mastery of taste and understanding of space that we have. The variety of work we completed and the quality of end result designs reflect our consistent endeavor to provide practical solutions that attend the smallest details without compromising the overall.

Our approach to Urban Design services we provide reflects a long term conviction that we must try and understand the workings of the built environment to improve, from the knowledge thus gained. This conviction is based on the concept of Emergence which is the way complex systems and patterns arise out of a multiplicity of relatively simple interactions.

At archTAG, we acknowledge the need for green solutions that explore sustainable development and 'green' building options in order to maximize both economic and environment performance. The built environment has a vast impact on the natural environment, affecting human health and economy. By adopting green building strategies we aim not only at constructing sustainable communities with indoor environmental quality, but can also support the preservation of energy and water resources.

We believe that sustainable development methods can be incorporated into buildings at any stage, including renovation, maintenance. However, the most significant benefits can be obtained if the design and construction teams integrate this approach from the inception stages of a project

The economic benefits of green buildings are high as they not only minimize the strain on local infrastructure, but also reduce operating costs, improve productivity of employees, and optimize the return of investment through better use of building resources.

For us, design solutions don't end with completion certificates issued by authorities and clients. We continue to look after buildings while they are used and get changed to fit new realities. Therefore, to care for this area, we had established a qualified Facilities Management team that understands building life cycles, act and react to change. We define Facilities Management as "the art of attaining objectives with the optimum utilization of the resources available to use".
