About

The Tunisian glassmaking company SOTUVER is a business that produces hollow glass. Set up in 1963 by the Tunisian state, it started production in 1967 with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons.

It was privatised in 1996 and became enlisted in the stock exchange in 1998.

Since 2003 it has operated on a new site in Djebel Oust (30 km from Tunis), expanding its production capacity to 45,000 tons per year.

Since December 2009, SOTUVER has introduced a major development, optimization and improvement programme at every level of its production and management chain.
