About
The Federation of Women's Rights Leagues FLDF, an NGO founded in 1993, under the name of the Democratic League for Women's Rights LDDF, which became a federation in 2009, is an NGO independent of the State, political parties and unions. The FLDF is among the living forces defending the principles of democracy, equality, and human rights and mainly the human rights of women. The Federation of Women's Rights Leagues is a federal organization which works for equality between men and women and for the elimination of all forms of discrimination and violence based on gender, based on its concern for the needs and aspirations from all strata and social backgrounds of women, and taking into account the diversity of their experiences at all stages of their lives and becoming aware of the need to integrate young people (men and women) and men into the process of action for building a society of equality and human rights. These are the foundations that frame the development of the federation's policies. The strategy adopted by the FLDF is structured around two main axes: the first of a socio-educational nature and the second relates to lobbying and advocacy.
