Vava'u Island Group Disability Services Incorporated

Mission Statement:

1.     To provide, within the resources available to The Organisation, information, support, advocacy, referral and education to the people at the Vava’u Group of Islands.

2.     To offer a service primary to all those with a disability and their families in the Vava’u Group of Islands on a confidential basis, regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion, and political affiliation, but The Organisation shall not limit its services only to those with a disability and their families.

3.     To assist in the relief of poverty, destitution and helplessness.

4.     To preserve and foster the dignity, self-respect and independence of all who use The Organisation.

5.     To secure funding’s recurring or otherwise from donors for the advancement of the objectives of The Organisation.

6.     To abide and operate legally by the Laws and Regulations of The Kingdom of Tonga, and to comply with relevant Laws and Regulation of other Sovereign State in which The Organisation deals with from time to time. 

7.     To employ management and staff with attributes and aspirations conducive to archiving the Mission Statements.
