Azienda Sanitaria Locale (ASL) Roma 1

The ASL Roma 1 was born on January 1, 2016 following the merger between the ASL Roma A and the ASL Roma E, which from January 1, 2015 had already incorporated the San Filippo Neri Hospital, in implementation of the operational programs of the Region Lazio 2013-2015.

The ASL aims to promote and protect the health, both individual and collective, of the resident population and in any case present in any capacity in its territorial area, to allow the best possible quality of life, guaranteeing the essential levels of assistance, defined by National and Regional Health Service, through the organization and management of preventive, treatment and rehabilitation services and services, produced and provided in compliance with the principles of appropriateness and on the basis of the most modern technical-scientific knowledge and in line with epidemiological evidence at the same time ensuring the best qualitative parameters as defined by national and international regulations and by the guidelines of the European Union, compliance with the constitutional objectives as well as the budgetary constraints defined by national and regional planning.
