to develop and evaluate all legislation and regulations;
to investigate all requests for mining titles allowing mining operations to be carried out in Senegal;
to ensure the management of mining titles from the allocation until their cancellation or withdrawal;
to contribute to the formulation of geological and mining development strategies, policies and programs;
to conduct negotiations within the framework of applications for exploration permits, operating permits and mining concessions;
to follow the evolution of commodity prices;

VISION
A transparent mining sector promoting a better sharing of wealth through the involvement of the national private sector in the exploitation and the establishment of a regulatory framework preserving the interests of the State and the populations for the emergence of a united society in a state of law.
