KinderBerg has dedicated itself to the welfare of women and children in its humanitarian work, for example in the evacuation of war-injured and traumatized children during the Balkan War or in the course of emergency aid projects for internally displaced persons in the successor states of the former Yugoslavia and Afghanistan. But also within the framework of the aid projects for women affected by HIV or AIDS in Côte d'Ivoire, the tsunami victims in Sri Lanka and the needy population in Nepal, the focus of the project work of KinderBerg is on supporting and promoting self-help capacities of the population.
