SPRAL - Sociedade de Pré-esforçados de Aveiro, Lda.

SPRAL was founded in 1966, with the founding partners of Eng. João Monteiro da Conceição, his son Eng. João Chartres Monteiro, Eng. Celso Albuquerque and Dr. Tomás Oliveira Dias. It stands out for having been a pioneer in the production of light prestressed floors in Portugal, such as joists, slats and profiles.

In 2001, it was acquired by the Mário Almeida Group, managed by Mr. Mário Almeida, Dr. Nuno Almeida and Dr.ª Susana Almeida. Over the past few years, as a result of a constant effort and a strategy of growth and diversification of products and markets, SPRAL has diversified its product range to the maximum extent for all areas of construction.

SPRAL currently has a factory unit with an area of 80,000 m2, and two ready-mixed concrete plants, with the collaboration of 100 employees divided by the various areas of operation.
