MAANDEEQ GROUP OF TRADE AND CONTRACTING was originally founded as SOCOCO local contracting company in 2000 to provide quality contracting services in the Puntland State of Somalia. During its operation in Puntland it had realized the increasing demand of the construction and therefore to expand services the management team adopted a new name replacing SOCOCO to MAANDEEQ GROUP OF TRADING AND CONTRACTING COMPANY to accelerate and enhance the services for the community in general in 2006.

We still maintain the same foundation of integrity, trust and mutual respect that has made the business an ever-expanding success, and one of the premier contractors in the country.

MAANDEEQ GROUP is professional private construction, trade, Logistic and contracting company established by group professionals of commendable reputation having noticed a resilient economy fuelling the need for quality professional services in design, construction and reconstruction in war-torn Somalia, particularly Puntland. MAANDEEQ GROUP addresses a broad spectrum but zeroes down to; design, consultation, rehabilitation and renovation using innovative and creative designs and technologies.

The company serves a variety of clients including business companies, local organisations, government bodies, international organizations and private people. The company has so far accomplished in designing and constructing quality premises such as residential villas, schools, mosques, and offices, as well as drilling boreholes and digging shallow wells in Puntland (see list at the end of this document. MAANDEEQ GROUP is registered under Puntland government. We are based in Bosaso and has sub-offices in Garowe and Galkaio.
