The Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO) which actively promotes the independence, dignity and purpose in life of our members, representing and expressing their views and concerns, and taking action to bring about change.

BARP was incorporated on October 25th, 1995, and currently has over 26,000 members in good financial standing. We are one of the largest organisations of its kind in Barbados and one of the fastest growing.

BARP is recognised as an outstanding leader in championing the well-being of 50 Plus people through excellent service delivery, vigorous advocacy, promotion of life-long learning for personal realisation, capacity enhancement and sound governance.
