l'Institut Agro - Institut national d'enseignement supérieur pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement / National Institute of Higher Education for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (Agro Institute)

The National Institute of Higher Education for Agriculture, Food and the Environment or the Agro Institute is a public scientific, cultural and professional establishment (EPSCP) of the large establishment type created from1 st January 2020.

It is placed under the main supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the educational supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education . Its headquarters are in Paris at 42 rue Scheffer in the 16th arrondissement.

The establishment is made up of two internal schools with great autonomy in administrative, budgetary, teaching and research matters:

• The National School of Agronomic Studies of Montpellier (Montpellier Sup Agro) with its head office in Montpellier;
• The National School of Agronomic, Agri-food, Horticultural and Landscape Sciences (Agrocampus Ouest), headquartered in Rennes.
