Humanities Research Centres Berlin e.V. (Geisteswissenschaftliche Zentren Berlin, GWZ)
The Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) works together with the Leibniz Center for Modern Oriental Studies (ZMO) and the Leibniz Center for Literary and Cultural Research (ZfL) under the joined organizational umbrella of the Humanities Research Centres (Geisteswissenschaftliche Zentren Berlin (GWZ) e. V.). The association was founded in 1995. The GWZ's statutes define the committee structure. The organs of the association are the General Assembly (Mitgliederversammlung), the Board of Trustees (Kuratorium) and the Board of Directors (Vorstand). Each center has a Scientific Advisory Board, which advises the funding bodies and the respective center management in all scientific questions.
