Children’s Day School (CDS)

Welcome to Children’s Day School, an independent co-educational school for students in preschool through eighth grade. Whether you are a current CDS family member looking for information on classroom learning or school events or a prospective family member interested in discovering more about our constructivist curriculum, our safe and expansive campus (complete with farm and organic garden), or our diverse and inclusive community, I invite you to spend some time exploring our website.

Each fall, CDS hosts an evening open house for prospective families, a highlight of which is a question-and-answer session with current CDS middle schoolers as well as CDS alumni who have moved on to become high school and college students. Those who hear these remarkable young people consistently describe them as self-aware, self-assured, intellectually curious and engaged.
