Almost 400 years tradition, high quality of our steels, expert skills of our employees which go from one generation to another, own development continuously pursuing market equirements and futureoriented investments into technical progress are the reasons why the company Metal Ravne is the name you can trust.

Our own Steel Plant, Forging Shop, Rolling Mill and a wide range of heat treatment and machining processes allow us to produce a rich pallet of more than 200 steel grades in different dimensional shapes, from carbon and alloyed structural steels to tool and special steels in the form of rolled and forged products. Products are made in accordance with international standards and they are provided with corresponding certificates.

We are aware that indicators like 1000 employees and almost 90,000 ton annual production range us globally in the group of mini mills.Therefore, we found our opportunity in the so called niche production which is characterized by specific knowledge and experience, larger flexibility and higher added value. Accordingly, the scope of our production and sales have been continuously rising.

We are concentrated on developing specific knowledge and skills. At the same time, we build our future also on modernization of our machinery. Strategic investments like the new Forging Shop for heavy forgings, the new Rolling Mill for heavy sections and a modern Teeming Pit indicate our extended offer to our customers. Continuous improvements allow us to come closer to the requirements, wishes and expectations of our suppliers, customers, employees, owners and also the environment we live and work in. With such commitment towards our partners and the environment, we were among the first Slovenian companies that acquired the ISO 9001 quality certificate and the ISO 14000 group certificate.

We are well aware of the significance of efficient and flexible marketing. Therefore, we have been investing into a customer friendly sales network. Our goal is to increase our identity on the global market where already 80 % of our products are exported to. Although our main target are the European Union countries, our products are well known also in the United States, Near and Far East, and in other countries all over the world.
