Office National de l'Assainissement (ONA)

Placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Water Resources, the National Sanitation Office (ONA) is a national public industrial and commercial establishment (EPIC), created by executive decree n °: 01-102 of April 21, 2001 .

The ONA replaces all the public, national, regional and local establishments and bodies in charge of the public sanitation service, in particular:

• The National Drinking Water and Sanitation Agency (AGEP)
• National public establishments with regional competence for sanitation management.
• The EPEDEMIA of wilaya; municipal boards and services for the management of sanitation systems.
