The Elbe-Obst Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH consists of an association, closed in 1994, of trading companies and the Elbe-Obst producer organization r. V., in order to meet the demand for concentration on the procurement side.

It supplies food retailers, the export market, the convenience sector and the processing industry. The GmbH is listed with the customers and is responsible for the preparation of offers, invoicing, collection and shipping. The shareholders of the sales company have an extensive fleet of vehicles.

In addition to pome, stone and soft fruit from the Altes Land, products from the convenience sector are also marketed. With the pooling of producer know-how and sales competence in the alliance, the sales company offers "cultivation and marketing from a single source".
