Justis Publishing started life as Context Legal Systems, founded on the 29th November 1985, before changing their name in 2005 to incorporate the name of its popular service, Justis. From being the first organisation to supply case law on CD-ROM in the UK to revolutionising how legal information can be researched using JustCite’s indexing capabilities, and developing AI-powered visualisation tools, Justis has a reputation for innovation in the world of legal publishing and legal research. This innovative culture has proven compatible with the equally talented and visionary team from vLex, who were founded in 1998 and quickly became the leading legal information provider in their native Spain, and throughout Latin America.
