Resolution of the Council of Ministries of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic, on March 30, 1960, № 130, adopted the Chamber of Commerce of the Tajik SSR, which was subordinate to the Government of the Republic. The main aims and objectives of the Chamber of Commerce are:

Promotes the development and strengthening of economic relations with foreign countries of Tajikistan, as well as the development of trade and industry in Pespublike.

In January 1973, at a general meeting of members of the Chamber of Commerce, it was decided to rename the House in the \"Chamber of Commerce Tadzhikskoy SSR.\"
