Nai Disha Educational and Cultural Society

Nai Disha Educational and Cultural Society is a non-profit organization with focus on community development through education. We believing in the basic social principle that all children should have quality education and equal opportunities irrespective of their birth and social status. We believe that communities can change and develop only when children are empowered by education that is relevant to their own reality.

Our main aim is to equip each and every child with appropriate life skills to contribute positively to their own growth and to that of the larger family. Our target group consists of children from migratory families which belongs to economically weak and backward strata of society, usually from small villages and towns. As majority of these parents are illiterate, these children are first generation learners and hence have their own set of issues. Given their financial and social constraints their priority is survival where there is a daily battle to make both ends meet. Due to these constraints they are ill equipped to fulfil the emotional, psychological and academic needs of the child.
