The Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca (Unicolmayor) of national character, created in 1945 It is an Autonomous University Entity, with a special regime, legal status, academic, administrative and financial autonomy, independent patrimony, linked to the Ministry of National Education as regards to the policies and planning of the educational sector Creation: Created by Law 48 of December 17, 1945, with the name of Colegio Mayor de Cultura Femenina de Cundinamarca. Through Law 91 of 1993, the name changed to Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca. Recognition: Recognized as UNIVERSITY according to Resolution 828 of March 13, 1996 issued by the Ministry of National Education.
