Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers of Argentina monitors the activities of the ministries and government policies, and they take care of communication with the media, citizens and the National Congress. Among the functions that the Constitution assigns to the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers are:

• exercise the general administration of the country, coordinate and prepare the meetings of the cabinet of ministers,
• to collect the revenues of the Nation,
• execute the National Budget Law and comply with those responsibilities delegated by the President of the Nation.
