FMGZ MEDEA e.V. - Frauen- und Mädchengesundheitszentrum

The FMGZ MEDEA eV is the only women's and girls' health center in East Germany of around 15 nationwide. Here, women and girls from the age of 6 who are looking for help provide information and advice on health issues, in order to encourage and strengthen their own competence and support them in a self-determined way .

In individual counseling - based on a holistic understanding of health - we always see the whole person. This means that we not only talk about specific individual complaints or emergencies, but also consider the context in order to bring body and soul back into balance: inside and outside, individual dispositions and current circumstances in the respective psychosocial world.

In courses and workshops , we treat topics of gender and age-specific health promotion and prevention such as:
- physical well-being and tips for self-help
- healthy living conditions and lifestyle
- mental health
- equality
- self-determined sexuality
- violence prevention
