Infraestructures.cat is the public company of the Generalitat de Catalunya in charge of designing, building, conserving, operating and promoting all kinds of infrastructures and buildings that the Catalan Government promotes or in which it participates and the services that can be installed there. To develop or develop, as well as to design and build all kinds of infrastructures and third-party buildings with which the Generalitat has agreed to build them.

Within the typology of civil works actions, the projects are drafted and the works of roads, railway infrastructures, ports, airports, canals, dams, irrigation and water supply networks are executed. In the building category, projects are drafted and equipment works such as schools, hospitals, primary care centers, police stations, penitentiaries, courthouses, bus stations and sports centers are carried out.

Over the almost 26 years of management, Infraestructures.cat has been consolidating a working methodology within the construction sector in Catalonia, raising the levels of rigor and demand in each phase of the process.

The aim is to resolve actions by optimizing costs and deadlines, achieving the required quality levels, minimizing the impact on the environment and guaranteeing safety conditions.
