Sugal was founded in 1957 in Azambuja (Ribatejo region, Portugal), having built its first production unit there. Over more than 60 years, shareholders and founders have defined a vision of creating a sustainable business that responds to the need to transport agricultural products in the region and, at the same time, create work in a region that at the time presented serious difficulties. Sugal Group brings the natural freshness and flavors from the tomatoes and fruits to every product they produce which will be used in various ways from soups, sauces or juices consumed around the world.
