Dimos Andravidas-kyllinis

The Municipality of Andravida - Kyllini is a municipality of Western Greece that was established with the Kallikratis Program from the merger of the pre-existing municipalities of Andravida, Vouprasia, Kastro - Kyllini and Lechaina. The area of the new Municipality is 354.12 sq.km and its population is 21,581 inhabitants according to the 2011 census. The seat of the municipality is Lehaina and the historical seat is Barda .

The Municipality has a rich production of agricultural products and fisheries, it is mostly plain, in most of it it is bathed by the Ionian Sea, it has clean and organized beaches, tourist accommodation of all kinds (from luxury hotels to campings), it has a Port of Kyllini, from where ferries depart for Kefalonia and Zakynthos, has a War Airport - Andravida, and a number of historical monuments and sights.
