FIT-CISL Federazione Italiana Trasporti

The Italian Transport Federation (FIT) organizes and represents workers in the transport of the environment and services.
It is established at national, regional, territorial and workplace level.

The FIT adheres to the CISL (Italian Confederation of Workers' Unions) and internationally to the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF), to the European Transport Workers' Federation (ETF) and, through the CISL, to the European Confederation of Trade Unions (CES).

The FIT is the owner of :

• political representation in relations outside the organization;
• definition and management of transport and environmental policy;
• collective bargaining at all levels;
• organizational and training policy, management policy and the set of resources;
• contribution and membership;
• definition of the regulations and treatment for all operational staff and managers (employees, seconded law 300/70, seconded with pay);
• definition of new unionization and proselytizing programs;
• proclamation of strikes;
• organization of services.
