Protab specializes in the integration of technological projects for mining automation with an emphasis on the design and implementation of applied technological solutions that assist operational connectivity requirements in mining in real-time with high availability and by adding value to the client via data use.

Established in 1999 as a manufacturer of computer equipment and wired communication network systems, it has expanded in response to customer demand, creating the first multi-service wireless network for open-pit mining operations. In 2010, Protab started participating in the Minera Escondida Cluster Program, a program aimed at producing world-class suppliers, and this marked the beginning of its internationalization, opening its first office in Peru, in the city of Arequipa, at the end of 2011 with the Lima office then being opened in 2012.

Protab now has over 200 employees with considerable expertise and qualifications, allowing it to carry out turnkey projects of high technological complexity, ensuring that clients can observe and work in real-time on their management platforms and field systems.
