GreenLight Fund

The GreenLight Fund, a non-profit venture philanthropy organization was founded in Boston in 2003, seeks to improve the lives of children, youth and families in high-poverty urban areas by establishing local infrastructures.

It is currently working in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Detroit, Kansas City, Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay Area and the Twin Cities to solve essential needs by identifying critical needs, importing innovative, entrepreneurial programs with a significant and measurable impact as well as galvanizing local support to help programs reach and sustain impact in a new area.

The GreenLight Fund envisions a national network of towns cooperating and learning from one another to harness the vision and ambition of social entrepreneurs and expedite the spread of proven programs that benefit children, youth and families.
