Ban Josip Jelačić High School in Zaprešić is of a regional character; it is the only high school in the Zaprešić area that covers an area of 50,000 inhabitants. The school was officially opened on October 16, 2003. The construction and equipping of this modern polyvalent school was made possible by the Ministry of Education and Sports, Zagreb County and the city of Zaprešić.
The activity of the school is secondary education, which includes various types and forms of upbringing and education, training and advanced training, which after the completion of primary schooling enables the acquisition of knowledge and skills for work and continuing education.
