Plastic Logic is an acknowledged leader in the design and manufacture of flexible, glass-free electrophoretic displays (EPDs). For over two decades we have perfected our patented process. Today we have successful, proven products in the market – our glass-free, flexible and innovative Lectum® displays.

Plastic Logic was originally spun out of Cambridge University. At the Cavendish Laboratory, Professor Henning Sirringhaus and his team developed a process for printing transistors and, together with Sir Richard Friend and Stuart Evans, he founded a company.

Over the years the company has grown and developed and manufactured flexible, glass-free EPDs, of different sizes, opening up new markets including mobile devices and smart cards.

A rigorous programme of process optimisation has led to the design and development of our current range of displays, which include Lectum® and Legio colour displays.
