LSP Construction

LSP Construction (Pty) Ltd, previously trading as Lesotho Steel Products (Pty) Ltd (LSP), is a wholly Basotho owned Company, was established in 1976 in Maseru, Lesotho. Structural steel work was the main focus of the Company well into the 1980’s, but it was during the 1990’s that LSP Construction began to include building and civil works in its portfolio. By the year 2000 the Company was offering total turn-key solutions to our varied clients.

In addition to the expansion into building and civil works in the 1990’s, LSP Construction also extended its skills and knowledge base to include the construction of power-lines and substations in 1995.  Since this endeavour began, LSP Construction has been instrumental in improving the living conditions of more than 10 000 Basotho by electrifying households under various electrification projects and today LSP Construction not only has the capacity and expertise to manage the electrification of households, but also the construction of power-lines and substations up to 132 kV. LSP Construction is a registered ‘A’ Category’ Contractor at the Ministry of Works and also as a Specialist Structural Steel Contractor.  LSP Construction is also registered as an ‘A Category’ Electrical Contractor at the Lesotho Electricity Corporation.
