Norconsult Africa was established in South Africa in 2009 and provides energy sector management consulting services to private and public sector clients in South Africa and the Africa region by use of own professional staff and a network of professional associates on contract with the company.

This includes transaction advisory services for generation and transmission projects, and private Independent Power Producer as well as advise on power market assessments and investment strategies for private power investors and public utilities. Advise is provided to private and public utility clients on structuring, development and management of energy project development processes.

Norconsult Africa also undertakes technical and commercial due diligence review of power generation projects at different stages of development and implementation, including coal-fired, gasfired, hydropower and other renewable energy projects (wind and solar energy).
