LAO-ASIE Consultants Group (LAC) first registered in 2006 as SD & XP Consultants Group. The founding of LAC took place over the course of 14 years. In 2000, a small group of consultants operating under the umbrella of a local law firm decided to register as an independent identity. Progressively, SD & XP Consultant Group expanded its staff, increased market share and welcomed new shareholders, thus transitioning to become LAO-ASIE Consultants Group in 2010.

The company is local owned and includes the CEO, two division managers and a team of consultants who have extensive experience in a variety of sectors at local and international levels. The LAC founders combine professional experience of over 35 years in many different sectors; agriculture and livestock support, livelihoods development, road and transport, social development, natural resources management, architecture and construction, irrigation and hydropower.
LAC is a company with highly qualified and motivated staff who take a great deal of pride in the quality of work we deliver to our clients. LAC’s full time staff and project employees consist of more than 70 people located in Vientiane and at project sites around the country. The company structure allows having quickly available experienced staffs to meet the needs of each client.
In addition, LAC also has established strong relationships with a network of independent national and international consultants, firms, and organizations, which complement from time to time the core staff expertise. This strengthens the ability to meet the challenge of an extensive array of consulting assignments.
