About

MDDC contributes to creating the safe enviroment for the people by demining, training of service dogs and by implementing mine risk education activities.
MDDC was established in 2002 and opened in 2003 as Mine Detection Dog Center for South East Europe. Initial funds for first three years of operational costs were provided by US Department of State. MDDC have proven to be valuable asset of Bosnia and Herzgovina in area of mine detection dog training and other kinds of service dog training. Our dogs work in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraq, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Angola, Turkey, and other countries of SEE region. MDDC is also active in mine clearance operations and Mine Risk Education.
