Legal Informational Centre for Non-governmental Organisations (PIC)

The mission of the PIC is to assist individuals and vulnerable groups in protecting their fundamental rights and to strengthen the influence of NGOs in the field of environmental protection and spatial planning through legal aid, advocacy and legal analysis.

Vision
We strive for effective protection of rights,  for promoting the development of legal thought and finding more advanced, more democratic and humane solutions, for strengthening civil dialogue and the position of non-governmental organizations, for involving the public in decision-making processes and for simpler and more comprehensible legislation.

Operation
We operate in accordance with the generally applicable principles of international law, international treaties, the constitution, laws and other legal acts, with the main goal of protecting fundamental human rights and freedoms and protecting the environment , advocating for the rule of law and the welfare state.

It carries out its activities through national and international projects, which include analyzes of domestic legislation and comparative analyzes in the function of incentives for changes or the implementation of new legislation. It also provides education and counseling to the affected target groups and their organizations in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms and environmental protection in accordance with the projects it implements.
