Sable Scanning Technologies was initially launched in January 2000 and was one of only a few the scanning and imaging centers in South Africa. 

In June 2005, the company was expanded and we added training and technical maintenance as part of our services, offering a range of imaging and human resource services, which add substantial value to our clients at both business and strategic levels, by means of partnering with, or outsourcing to us. 

The Group consists of: 

• Sable Scanning Technologies (PTY) Ltd – offering imaging technology and products. 
• The EDMS Institute – offering a full range of imaging training. 
• Sable Document Architechs – a Sable group of franchisees offering clients imaging and EDMS services in the main centres throughout South Africa. 
• Sable Document Storage (Docusafe) – offering specialized Records and Information Management Services that includes Document Storage Services, Taxonomy, Document Retention policies and Secure Media Storage.
