About

President Mamnoon Hussain lauded the humanitarian services rendered by Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) over the decades in times of natural calamities and any other emergency. The President said that the emerging challenges and increasing frequency and severity of natural disasters in the recent past have further increased the importance of the role of PRCS.

The President said this after being briefed on the relief efforts of PRCS for Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) in the wake of military operation Zarb-e-Azb and for affectees from recent floods and torrential rains by Chairman PRCS Dr. Saeed Elahi at Aiwan-i-Sadr.
