HealthRight International is a global health and human rights organization. HealthRight was founded in 1990 by physician and human rights advocate Dr. Jonathan Mann.
HealthRight projects address health and social crises made worse by human rights violations, with a particular focus on four key populations:
o Women and Children
o At-Risk Adolescents
o Migrants
o LGBTI individuals
HealthRight leverages global resources to address local health challenges and create sustainable solutions.
The impact of our work results in locally built and owned solutions, equitable access to health services and better health outcomes for communities.
HealthRight International-Kenya’s Mission is to empower marginalized communities to live healthy Lives. We work through creating demand for health services by empowering communities. Our Programming strategic Focus areas include Women and Child Health, at Risk adolescents, LGBTIs and Migrants. The Counties covered include Trans-Nzoia, West Pokot, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Nairobi and Kilifi.
