PADME Association emerged from the Support Project for the Development of Micro-Enterprises which, originally, was an initiative of the Beninese government with financing from the World Bank. When it was launched, the PADME project aimed to offset the social effects of structural adjustment programs. The vision of the PADME Association is that the supply by the microfinance sector of financial services adapted to micro enterprises and low-income people will play an important role in strengthening the dynamism and efficiency of micro enterprises. .
