As a long time established German engineering and consulting company, decon international provides a comprehensive package of engineering and advisory services worldwide and accompanies infrastructure projects in the areas of energy, renewables, energy efficiency, water, waste water, and smart cities.

Decon international combines the expertise of two merged world-renowned German consulting companies. decon and MVV Consulting. Today, it is an internationally well-established traditional German consulting and engineering company.

1873 - Foundation of Gaswerke Mannheim, a local energy and water supplier (MVV).
 
1973 - Foundation of decon – Deutsche Energie-Consult Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH by Steinkohlen-Elektrizität AG (STEAG).
 
2000 - Merger of decon and MVV Consulting to MVV Decon GmbH.
 
2015 - decon international GmbH was founded as a spin-off of MVV decon GmbH to highlight the focus on international power and water consultancy.
 
2016 - In January tilia GmbH with headquarters in Berlin, Paris and Leipzig took over decon international to strengthen their international business in energy, water and environmental business.
