The Lithuanian Vegetable Growers 'Association (LDAA) was established in 1998 as an independent public organization uniting both the largest and smallest vegetable and potato growers, growers' and market preparation and marketing cooperatives and agricultural companies.
Tasks:
- To represent and defend the common interests of the members in relations with the public, state authorities and management institutions;
- To form the country's horticulture and potato development policy;
- To promote the production of high quality vegetables and potatoes under market conditions, commercial preparation and marketing;
- To develop forms of integration and cooperation of the members of the Association;
- To cooperate on economic and professional issues with Lithuanian and foreign partners;
- To help the members of the organization to realize the products, to implement scientific recommendations and practical experience, to raise their professional qualification.
Activities of members:
- Growing of vegetables and ware and seed potatoes;
- Commercial preparation and sale of vegetables and potatoes.
