Nova was established in 1994 as an association incorporated not for gain in terms of Section 21 of the companies act.

Vision
The Nova vision is a healthy household culture in Southern Africa.

Mission
The Nova mission is to develop and promote ways (models, products, technologies, practices) to improve the quality of life of households. Nova executes its mission together with household residents and networks.

Ten-year aim
Our ten-year aim is:

To establish Nova as institution of highest excellence in developing and promoting solutions for a healthy household culture
To take solutions to scale in Southern Africa through networks.
